Build a desktop PC
A desktop gives you control over performance, cooling and upgrades. Start with the CPU and motherboard, then choose RAM, SSD, PSU and cooler to match the socket, chipset and case.
Work anywhere with a notebook
Notebooks suit study, office work and travel. Check display size, battery life, ports and whether RAM or SSD are soldered. Demanding games need a dedicated GPU.
Graphics cards for gaming and AI
The GPU sets frame rate, resolution and detail. 16 GB VRAM is the sensible 2026 entry point for 1440p and 4K; 32 GB makes sense for AI models and rendering. Check length, slots and PSU first.
Buying checklist
Set a budget and primary use case first. Then check socket, RAM generation, PSU headroom, case clearance and cooling. For notebooks, battery, screen brightness, keyboard and warranty matter more than raw CPU power.
